One of our leading clients have an opening for a Senior Supply Chain Specialist who will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain
- Create purchase orders based on client needs and internal procedures, maintain a rolling forecast with information of forecast variances to assigned CMO’s, and manage scheduling/prioritization with contract manufacturers (CMOs).
- Manage CMOs by aligning on client/order priorities, participating in S&OP processes, lead and participte in regular contract manufacturer meetings or calls to ensure delivery and production timelines are met.
- Process shipment documents and purchase invoices, maintain accurate records for order related documents, document customer service actions and discussions. Maintain SAP data for data accuracy, completeness and alignment.
- Communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders to ensure priorities and exceptions are clearly understood and issues are resolved. Escalate issues that may impact cost or timelines.
- Customer Service
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer queries, maintaining clear and consistent communication regarding order timing, campaign planning, demand management and product collection.
- Request, update, and analyze client forecasts and demand plans to support accurate supply and production planning.
- Receive, process and manage client purchase orders. Support client documentation requirements including invoices, packing lists, release documentation and customs/shipping documents.
- Process all queries efficiently and liaise with internal departments and external partners as required.
- Additional responsibilities
- Acts as a reliable Business Partner for internal and external customers.
- Represents the Supply Chain team within the organization and promotes proper interaction between team and other departments.
- Interacts and consults with cross functional teams including NPI, QA, KAM, Finance and RA teams.
- Support process development and process improvement, and support ongoing and new projects together within the Operations department and wider company as needed.
- Any other duties as assigned as the role develops within the supply chain department.
Requirements:
- 3rd level degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field. Lean Six Sigma certification an asset.
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry required. Minimum 5 years experience in a similar function (Export/Import & Logistics experience is an asset).
- Experienced in working in a KPI and metric driven environment. SAP Business One experience desired.
- Fluent written and spoken English. (Other languages are an asset).
- Self-starter, capable of working autonomously.
- Clear communicator, practical and solution orientated. Efficiency and effectiveness.
- Data driven and experienced in data analysis with attention to detail.
- Change-management skills. Balancing entrepreneurial spirit with structure – willingness to adapt to shifting or competing priorities.
- Drive for performance (fast decision-making, positive, courage, curious, connected). Seeks feedback to enhance performance.
