Our client is seeking a talented Senior Network Engineer to drive cloud networking initiatives across Azure and Google Cloud , while ensuring seamless hybrid connectivity. This will be a fully remote role and can work anywhere in Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud and hybrid network solutions (Azure, GCP, on-prem).
- Develop infrastructure with Terraform (IaC) and automate deployments.
- Ensure network security best practices across VNets, VPCs, firewalls, VPNs, and routing.
- Build secure on-prem to cloud connectivity (ExpressRoute, VPN, Cloud Interconnect).
- Troubleshoot complex issues and deliver high-availability solutions.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Network / Cloud Network Engineer in production.
- Strong Azure networking skills (VNets, ExpressRoute, Firewalls, Load Balancers).
- Knowledge of GCP networking (VPC, VPN, Interconnect, Load Balancing, DNS).
- Proficiency with Terraform and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, VPN).
- Exposure to CI/CD and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Strong communicator and team player.
