I am hiring a Manufacturing Technician for a cutting-edge Medtech company in Dublin. The role will provide support and feedback to the engineering & role model for Continuous Improvement and GMP guidelines. The purpose of the role is produce medical device components and products by carrying out assembly procedures, including packaging and shipping of product, and share responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of the manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work in clean-room and non-cleanroom ESD environments to manufacture medical device product and components with and without the use of microscopes.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and standard operating procedures; complying with legal regulations; monitoring environment.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; calling for repairs.
- Maintenance and upkeep of manufacturing environments, tools and equipment.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement in procedures, design and general practices, and aid in implementation.
- Liaise with engineering, troubleshooting through issues.
- Engage with the QMS to ensure delivery of the overall quality strategy & support the achievement of the business quality objectives.
Requirements:
- Cleanroom manufacturing experience.
- Medical device manufacturing experience.
- Problem-solver.
- Ability to self-start and take on responsibility.
Desirable
- Soldering.
- Lasering.
- Supporting medical device design and process development previously a huge advantage.
