We are delighted to be working with a well established global pharmaceutical company based in Wicklow, on a Head of Performance permanent opening! This is a site leadership role, that would see you drive high performance through Performance 360 (Quality, Cost, Safety, Delivery and Engagement).As Head of Performance, you will manage the OPEX management system, lead process optimisations and support on site-wide project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Working in close collaboration with the General manager, drive the building of the OPEX management system, ensuring its consistency with the corporate & strategic priorities & objectives.
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to promote internal communication on the Project, Digital, Data and performance improvement plans.
  • Ensure Performance 360 is embedded across the site (Quality, Cost Delivery, Safety & Engagement).
  • Working with the senior team and key stakeholders develop and execute the Digital transformation roadmap in line with corporate & strategic priorities.
  • Develop Data Analytics capability on site to explore and analyse data to derive meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Be the owner of KPIs and Operational Excellence onsite on site.
  • As a Senior Leadership team member, contribute to the optimisation of the site.
  • Maintain positive relationships within your department and all its internal and external partners.
  • Compile budgetary requirements and maintain compliance to agreed budgets.

Requirements:

  • Degree in an Engineering or scientific discipline and 1O+ years experience in project management or a business improvement program in a manufacturing environment.
  • A skilled OpEx practitioner and transformation leader, a cross-disciplinary thinker with a positive personality and an uncompromising drive to transform and improve operations.
  • Lean 6-Sigma experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to identify, develop & lead performance improvement programs.
  • Strong knowledge of all PMO (Portfolio planning and management, project management ) processes.
  • Expertise in change management.
