My client is seeking an experienced Enterprise Service Design Architect to lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of IT services across a large, complex, semi-state environment. This is an initial 3 year FTC with a view to go permanent for the right candidate.
This is a strategic, cross-functional role responsible for ensuring IT services are secure, scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with both business and regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with teams across Architecture, Cybersecurity, Service Management, and Project Delivery—supporting service design across greenfield and existing environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design of IT services including SLAs, support models, and transition plans.
- Ensure alignment with ITIL, NIST, NIS2 and integration with ServiceNow.
- Own service transition across projects using Prince2 methodology.
- Produce clear, consistent service design documentation.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in IT Service Management, with 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
- Strong experience in service architecture and frameworks (ITIL v4, NIST, NIS2).
- Proficiency with ServiceNow, CMDB, service catalogues.
- Broad understanding across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and SAP.
- Excellent stakeholder and communication skills.
Desirable:
- ITIL v4 MP or SL, TOGAF, ISO 20000, COBIT.
- Experience within Irish semi-state or public sector.
