Overview

CardiacBooster is a spin-off of the Radboud UMC and is located on the NovioTech Campus in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Cardiac Booster has been working on the development of a minimally invasive cardiac support device since 2018.


The product concept has been formulated by Dr. Daniël van Dort, a physician at Radboud University Medical Center. Based on his observations in the cardiac surgery department, Dr. van Dort has developed an innovative approach to left ventricular support.

Key Tech Hires Across Cyber, DevOps, Risk & More

Mason Alexander partnered with TD Securities to deliver contingent recruitment support across multiple technical roles, including Development, Cybersecurity, and IT Support. Over six months, we successfully placed key hires across various functions, becoming a trusted, tier-1 partner on their Preferred Supplier List (PSL).

Challenge

TD Securities needed to hire high-calibre candidates with a strong mix of technical expertise and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — ideally from Financial Services or similarly regulated environments. Despite their own efforts, filling these roles proved challenging.

Solution

We divided the roles among our consultants based on sector expertise. Each recruiter then:

  • Proactively sourced candidates within their specialist area
  • Engaged their networks and headhunted top talent
  • Worked closely with our marketing team to strategically advertise and maximise reach
  • Highlighted the strengths of TD Securities as an employer to attract interest


Once a shortlist was established, we provided tailored recommendations for each role and coordinated the interview process end-to-end.

Result

We successfully placed candidates across seven specialist roles within 2–3 weeks each — consistently delivering high-quality shortlists of 4–5 relevant candidates.
