Overview

CardiacBooster is a spin-off of the Radboud UMC and is located on the NovioTech Campus in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Cardiac Booster has been working on the development of a minimally invasive cardiac support device since 2018.


The product concept has been formulated by Dr. Daniël van Dort, a physician at Radboud University Medical Center. Based on his observations in the cardiac surgery department, Dr. van Dort has developed an innovative approach to left ventricular support.

Marketing Director

Challenge

Sculpted by Aimee (SBA), a fast-growing, award-winning beauty brand, approached Mason Alexander to partner on a critical executive hire. With an ambitious growth trajectory and expanding international presence, SBA required a Marketing Director who could elevate brand strategy and storytelling, while aligning closely with the vision of Founder & CEO, Aimee Connolly.


Given the brand's high standards and the competitive nature of the beauty industry, SBA was seeking a recruitment partner who could offer a full-service executive search solution — from targeted talent mapping to final offer negotiation.

The search culminated in the successful appointment of a high-impact Marketing Director from a globally recognised beauty competitor. The selected candidate brought a strong mix of strategic brand building, digital-first marketing, and cross-market leadership—aligning seamlessly with SBA’s growth ambitions.
