As VP of R&D, you will have overall responsibility for product design and development, leading multidisciplinary engineering teams through the full product lifecycle while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to define and execute strategic business objectives
- Lead and develop high-performing R&D teams across multiple engineering disciplines
- Drive the design, development, and delivery of innovative medical device systems
- Build organisational capability and ensure appropriate resources are in place to achieve business goals
- Collaborate closely with Quality, Clinical, Manufacturing, and Regulatory functions to support product evaluation and clinical studies
- Own R&D planning, budgeting, and resource allocation in line with company objectives
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Ensure adherence to quality systems and support the achievement of company-wide quality objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar field
- Postgraduate Qualifications specialising in a related technical field
- 10 years’ experience in Senior Management role with a background in medical device product development
- 10 years’ experience in the development of intellectual property
