Our client is a leading Venture Capital company who are seeking a Financial Controller to lead group-wide financial operations and support strategic decision-making across the business. This role is more commercial than a standard FC role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations across the group including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management.
- Deliver timely and accurate monthly and annual financial reports.
- Strategy focused decision making.
- Dealing with Investors, pitching etc.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring reconciliations and transfer pricing adjustments are accurate.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and tax reporting obligations.
- Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
- 5+ years post-qualification experience as a Financial Controller.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and reporting skills.
- Proficiency with financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience.
- Strong analytical mindset and commercial acumen.
