This is a senior leadership role responsible for implementing aviation cybersecurity quality and compliance frameworks in line with EU legislation (including NIS2 and CER) and national security requirements. You’ll oversee regulated entities, lead a growing specialist team, and act as a key advisor on regulatory and enforcement matters.
Responsibilities:
- Lead aviation cybersecurity oversight and compliance programmes
- Lead and support a high-performing cybersecurity team
- Oversee audits, inspections, approvals, and regulatory reporting
- Engage with domestic and international stakeholders
- Provide strategic advice to senior leadership
- 7–10+ years’ cybersecurity experience (3+ in leadership/oversight)
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF or similar frameworks
- Experience in aviation, critical infrastructure, or other regulated sectors
- Relevant degree and certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, GIAC desirable)
- Eligibility for enhanced security clearance
