World Rugby Partnership: Contract and Permanent Recruitment
Challenge
World Rugby was undergoing a rapid growth phase with multiple job roles to fill. Some of these roles were in particularly niche areas or included maternity cover or high urgency contracts that they were struggling to fill themselves.
World Rugby chose to approach Mason Alexander with help sourcing suitable candidates for these roles because of our extensive talent pool, “Can-Do” attitude and our heavy focus on culture and finding the right fit. Our community network, MA Sports, & Non-Executive Director Rob Kearney helped source suitable candidates for some of the more niche roles.
Solution
- World Rugby has many departments within its business. Mason Alexander met with each candidate to ensure their personality aligned with each department’s team values.

10 placements to date, with 4 placements since the beginning of 2020, with numbers increasing due to their increased demand. As a result, we have an ongoing relationship with them.
