Executive Search: Chief Information Officer for Pepper

Pepper sought a senior technology leader with the strategic vision and operational expertise to drive digital innovation across the business. The role required a candidate with extensive financial services experience, proven leadership capability, and strong alignment with Pepper’s culture of collaboration and performance.
This search required a highly targeted approach to attract both local and international talent with experience leading transformation within complex, regulated environments.
Solution

Our executive search process included:
- Comprehensive market mapping across Ireland and Europe
- Targeted outreach to senior technology leaders open to relocating to Ireland
- Strategic engagement via our CRM, referral network, LinkedIn campaigns, and industry channels
- Structured assessment and selection aligned to Pepper’s leadership and cultural priorities
A total of
79 candidates were screened, leading to a longlist of 15 (33% female representation, exceeding our diversity target). From this, six candidates were shortlisted, three advanced to second stage, and two to the final round.
Result
The process concluded with the successful appointment of an exceptional CIO within a
14-week timeframe, meeting all client objectives. The appointed executive has since played a pivotal role in strengthening Pepper’s digital strategy and technology leadership
