Our client, a fast-growth tech company is recruiting a Revenue Manager for their team. This is a newly created position due to continued growth and expansion. The successful candidate will provide revenue accounting expertise and will partner with the sales and legal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring revenue is recorded in compliance with ASC 606 and IFRS 15
  • Partnering with the sales and legal teams acting as a trusted advisor
  • Negotiating complex contract terms
  • Working with senior finance leadership to build out and develop the international revenue function in Dublin
  • Review and approve revenue contracts, especially non-standard terms and assess the impact to revenue recognition and revenue reporting
  • Prepare deal write-ups on strategic and significant complex contracts for review and audit
  • Ad-hoc project work

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ideally Big 4 trained) with approx. 5 years' PQE
  • Revenue accounting experience, for instance knowledge of ASC 606 and IFRS 15 required
  • Previous experience in pre-deal contract negotiations is a key requirement
  • Experience in a SaaS business is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships cross functionally
