Over the past number of years, my client has further cemented its position as a leading Irish corporate finance advisor, originating and advising on a wide range of transactions across the entire corporate finance product and service offering, from M&A advisory, Equity Capital Markets to Debt Advisory and Restructuring. Due to continued growth in their business, an opportunity has arisen for a new Corporate Finance Associate Director to join this successful team.

Whilst their team members work across a broad spectrum of sectors and transaction types they also adopt a sectorial and transaction type approach reflecting specific expertise and industry knowledge within their team. Each team member plays a significant role in sourcing and executing deals, enabling individual input in a challenging environment. This position offers an outstanding opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing financial organisation. This is a full time permanent position based in Dublin.

 Responsibilities

  • Advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, MBOs, IPO’s, public and private fundraisings, capital markets, debt advisory as well as the provision of strategic advice Awareness of domestic and international financial / economic developments
  • Building and maintaining a network of relationships across corporates, private equity investors, venture and growth capital providers, institutional investors, bank and credit fund debt providers as well as other service providers and advisors
  • Research and identification of corporate transactions and financing opportunities, and the strategic rationale therefor, across various markets for clients and working with Directors / Senior Management to develop proposals on behalf of our clients
  • Building and developing complex transaction and financing models
  • Preparation of pitch books and presentations and delivering presentations to clients on potential corporate transaction and financing opportunities in conjunction with Directors / Senior Management
  • Co-ordinate and manage the preparation / review of key transaction documents including information memorandums, circulars and prospectuses, investment summaries, management presentations, share sale agreements, subscription and shareholders agreements, equity and debt financing documents and other ancillary documents typical of the transactions my client advises on
  • Take a lead role on internal deal teams to manage the transaction process from inception to conclusion including valuation, due diligence, review and negotiation of legal documents and completion
  • Leading and directing junior members of the team
  • Co-ordinating all aspects of the transaction process including input from other advisors and service providers as well as client management and internal transaction teams
  • Communicating and liaising with senior client management
  • Provision of advice to public companies in relation to Listing and Takeover Rules
  • Working with the firm’s international offices on cross-border and related transactions and leveraging my client’s international presence to support Irish based clients

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 4 years Corporate Finance experience
  • Ideal candidates will have a first class academic record
  • Strong computer skills, Excel modelling and PowerPoint presentations in particular
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A commercial individual with high energy levels
  • Knowledge or familiarity with relevant public company regulations including Listing and Takeover Rules desirable
