My client is a global education and technology provider, occupying the corporate education and eLearning space. They have a vacancy for an experienced Sales Advisor to join the London office. 

The Role

Based in our London office, this role carries responsibility for the expansion and execution of my client's Classroom Education business in the UK and EMEA. This is a varied and challenging role that requires a solid understanding of learning principles and practices. It is highly consultative and collaborative, working with both clients and Intuition colleagues.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist in the strategy and direction of Intuition’s Classroom Education business in EMEA
  • Help analyse the market and refine the proposition specifically
  • Create opportunities to sell blended learning solutions
  • Benchmark and package our current offerings to ensure alignment with what our clients and targets are seeking
  • Cultivate and target corporate relationships and formulate prospect development plans
  • Drive sales and identify opportunities to work with the sales team to cross-sell and upsell classroom solutions
  • Identify opportunities to grow new revenue streams in target sectors and territories
  • Work with Management and Marketing in the development of requisite collateral and lead generation initiatives
  • Engage with prospects to understand their business needs and propose appropriate learning and knowledge solutions across all of Intuition’s offerings       
  • Prepare and deliver new business proposals for clients and prospects in conjunction with our in-house and associate subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • Design programmes and modules in partnership with clients, Intuition consultants, and SMEs
  • Support the delivery of initiatives in conjunction with the professional services team
  • Represent the Classroom business at events and ensure that prospects are engaged with Department activities (speaker events, webinars etc.
  •  Create and manage Client Development Plans in conjunction with the Sales Teams to create new business targets within key accounts
  • Work with Management and Marketing in the development of requisite collateral and lead generation initiatives
  • Work with the Sales Team to network within existing clients and to keep clients abreast of relevant deliveries elsewhere
  • Partner with Sales Team members in the development of client proposals and assist with closing business
  • Design programmes and modules in partnership with the Sales Team, clients, Intuition consultants, and SMEs
  • Support the delivery of initiatives in conjunction with the professional services team
  • Maintain and complete accurate records on our Marketing and Sales Intelligence systems              
  • Update the Client Development Plans to support internal account reviews
  • Contribute actively to internal and external facing collateral and knowledge sharing activities

Professional Experience

  •  3-5 years’ experience working in and selling learning solutions to leading financial services organizations
  • Strong track record of originating and nurturing key relationships in the Face-to-Face training business
  • Consistent achievement of revenue and profitability targets    
  • Proven ability to taking new propositions to market
  • Knowledge of, and experience delivering in, both the technical and soft skills arenas
  • Strong professional network and brand profile
  • Solid understanding of how financial services firms operate, the products and services they provide to their clients, the challenges they face and trends in the market
  • In-depth understanding of the application of multiple learning formats, tools and techniques in supporting and delivering successful blended learning initiative
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects in a client-facing role
  • Experience in documenting high-level requirements
  • Experience in writing winning proposals and pitch documents
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
